1. ENTERTAINMENT LAWYER 04/01
PART ONE
On Sunday night I was surfing the internet and saw an article about Bangkok.. Specifically a hotel in Bangkok that was undergoing a renovation. I remembered staying in that hotel like it happened yesterday, but is getting on towards a decade. I have always wanted to write about what happened that trip but I don’t think I am a good enough writer to convey all that was going on around me during that trip. It is one thing to describe the action, which I will do, but the heat and humidity soaking through clothes after just a few minutes or the massive case of food poisoning that made one 24 hour window a foggy haze of trips between an unforgiving to small couch and the cold tile floors of the bathroom. I had never been to Thailand before and have never been back since. This all happened shortly after the whole traipsing through Europe thing looking for the director. My job this time was a little different. I didn’t have to find anyone, because I knew where they were, but I had to see if the actor needed to be replaced before things got too far along. The actor was a mess of drugs and booze and Thailand was not helping things. I was sitting at home getting ready to go to work. I got a call and was told to pack a suitcase and bring my passport to the office. Originally I was told I was going to be gone for a week which is pretty fast when you are traveling halfway across the world. In reality it ended up being about half that amount of time. I get to the office and am introduced to an actor. You all know him. Good looking. Short. Chain smoker. Has a lot of sex with actresses (now Instagram models) and makes generally bad movies. His last name is almost a slur. Probably will be someday. He was supposed to go on this trip with me. Let us call him JM. The last time I saw JM on that trip was in an airport bar getting hammered with a group of flight attendants who had their trip canceled because the airplane that was going to take them back to Poland had been grounded back in Poland. Yeah, I asked him about that a few years later and he barely remembered it. I think parties like that happen to him frequently. Presumably JM was going with me in case the actor in question was just too far gone to even work any longer. Two totally different looking actors. You can tell this was a really high quality project. This ended up being straight to DVD. Somehow, over time they have sold over 250,000 DVD’s of this movie. I know. Crazy. I never saw any of it. The gist of what I am doing is told to me in the office and by 11 in the morning I’m at LAX and by 11:30 I am abandoned by JM. Because this was last minute and the producers were cheap, I was thrown on a flight that connected through Taiwan. Lovely airport Taiwan. Never saw anything else. That was a 13 hour flight and then the layover and then another 3 or 4 hour flight. I get picked up at the airport around midnight local time. Did I tell you about the middle seat I had on the 13 hour flight? I think I may have mentioned I am a large person. The people on either side of me may have been larger. They also enjoyed their meals loudly while talking around me both front and back. Good times. I was picked up at the airport and was dropped off at the hotel which I spoke about before. American chain. From the outside it looked the same as any other of their hotels. Inside? Even though it was past midnight, the inside was packed. The entire lobby was filled with an AARP convention’s worth of men and their 18 year old girlfriends. The lobby bar and restaurant were filled with these couples. I have never seen so much grab ass in my life. When we were driving in the car the final few blocks to the hotel I saw the occasional couple, but this was full on in your face. The noise was deafening. The guys were all talking to each other while the women were talking to each other and the only interruptions occurred when one of the old guys would shove his grizzled tongue down the throat of one of the teens while fondling her beneath her barely there clothes. You know, I don’t judge and am open to just about anything, but it was just so in your face. It is like someone dry humping in an elevator or a Starbucks line. I don’t care if you are dry humping in public, but when you have 12 inches of space between you and a person you don’t know, maybe you should wait a minute or two or go someplace where you don’t have to worry about hitting someone else with the follow through on your thrusting. Part Two is more lobby fun and we meet the actor I am there to see and another actor who is not as prim and proper as he likes to pretend to the world.
PART TWO
Was every guy in the world over the age of 60 in this hotel lobby at this particular second? That was what I was wondering as I made my way to a bank of elevators in the middle of the night headed to my room. The financial part of my brain kicked in and I thought if this was one random hotel on a random night and if this was being repeated all over the country, the amount of dollars brought in by this to the country must be staggering. In the elevator I was joined by two couples who obviously were about to head up to their rooms to finish what they had started in the lobby. One of the guys, who, judging by his accent was Australian, started speaking to me. While holding on to the breast of his female companion, he looked me up and down in my wrinkled suit and bloodshot eyes and said what I needed was a drink and a lady and the world would be all good again. The fact that he said this while missing several teeth and booze breath that would challenge the capability of a breathalyzer I wasn’t sure I ever wanted to see that world of which he spoke. Before I could reply he then boasted this was the third woman he was taking to his room that day. He then did that whole Aussie Aussie Aussie Oi Oi Oi thing with the other guy in the elevator, who up to that point had been making out with the woman who was with him. Not making out in a Ryan Gosling/Rachel McAdams Notebook way or even porn making out. This was like some guy who had practiced on a pillow for forty years and was making his first foray into the real thing. Did I tell you before how slow the elevator moved and how tall the hotel was? I finally got to my floor. The door opened and when I stepped out in the hallway I gasped for air. I realized that I had been holding my breath after getting a whiff of the vapors those guys had been emanating. The room? Nothing unlike any other of the hotel’s worldwide properties. You know, balcony, blackout curtains, mini-bar with boxes of condoms and sex toys individually wrapped. Oh, did I mention the lubes, oils or natural Viagra also for sale? I was so exhausted but couldn’t sleep. I took a shower and climbed into bed. I wish I had been like Gordon Ramsay in Hotel Hell and brought a sleeping bag with me. I flipped through the million cable channels and watched rugby until I fell asleep. I know all of you like to get straight to the celebrity blind parts of these things, but all of this was part of it and the experience. I guess I preferred Hollywood where vices are hidden and you have to pry out the secrets. My meeting was at 11 in the morning. That is my recollection. It has been awhile now. I do remember I had time to go slow in the morning. There was no rushing around. My original plan was to eat in the hotel restaurant for breakfast. Have you ever seen a bar in the daylight? That harsh light they try so hard to block out of nightclubs? The restaurant was nice enough in the daylight, but the aftermath of a night of drinking and partying was evident everywhere. Not in the room itself, but the people. I’m sure by later that night, most of these guys would be ready to go again, but that hotel restaurant was a really depressing sight I won’t soon forget. I wandered outside and saw a place to eat. Everything was open. I remember exactly what I ate. It was pork Pad Thai. It was to be the only meal I ate the entire visit. I took a cab over to the set and it was not like any set I had been on before. There was no main area where everyone parked and then shuttled over to the set. This was one big conglomeration of trailers and equipment and food stalls and tables and makeshift bars. There were literally women everywhere. Apparently to film there, the production had to hire not only crew, but also their families and second cousins and friends down the street. It was an army of workers. In Hollywood, with that number of people on set, the entire budget of this movie would be gone in a couple of days. Here, they would be able to film for six weeks. I asked around and found the actor I was looking for. I tried to find the producer contact I was supposed to meet, but apparently he was getting a massage. Uh huh. The actor. You all know him. Honestly you do. Even if I tell you that as it stands right now he is a B- list actor, all of you know him. In a change of pace, lets call him SD. Some people might dispute the whole SD thing, but I’m going with it. He was a mess when I saw him, but not in a I’m taking drugs and going to die kind of way. This was an I partied all night like a rock star because everyone in this country knows my franchise so I partied until an hour before coming to set kind of way. The movie was not tough. There are no sonnets or soliloquies. It was an action movie and plenty of low cost stunt people to do all the action. He just needed to be able to read some lines. He wasn’t going to be able to read them until mid-afternoon most days, but since most of the movie took place in late afternoon or night, that was not going to be an issue. He probably would not be able to film with the three topless women in his trailer either, but they would be there when he got back from filming. Apparently our actor had kicked drugs for the trip. Not because he was giving them up but because he was scared of ending up in jail there. He was going to drink the town dry and have sex as much as possible, but I could tell he was going to be able to film. This whole process took about an hour. Maybe a little less. I remember one of the women was talking about lunch and who was going to bring it to them and our actor seemed like it was go time for him with them which meant it was go time for me. As I am walking out of his trailer, I saw two other women go inside a trailer opposite his. No big deal. This was one big sex fest. Then, I saw who was in the other trailer. An actor who looked shocked that I saw him. It was one of those moments a director tries to capture where eyes lock on and you instantly know everything. This actor is well known. B lister through and through. He can get a headlining movie but it would have to be a straight to on Demand kind of thing. All of you know him too. Mr. Married. Mr. Family. Always going on and on about family and family values. It is always the big talkers who are the big cheaters. These women were not going in his trailer to cut his hair or pray with him. He knew that I knew. Right with that look. We are going to call him BC. I had heard a rumor a couple of years earlier that he hooked up with the actress/klepto turned escort. Well, that she orally serviced him while he freaked out about being caught. No one ever believed it. Now I did though. He has done a bunch of movies and television. I’m guessing his credits must total 100. I wasn’t going to rat him out but he didn’t know that. He could have kicked out the women after he saw me. He didn’t. Tomorrow in the final part, I met an actor for the first time who was a part of my life for that moment forward.
PART THREE
When you are going to be sick, the last thing you want in this world is to have to face being sick in some port-a-potty in the middle of a film set in the heart of Bangkok. Even in LA, a film set port-a-potty is something you dread. Put that sucker in the middle of a set when it is 90 degrees outside with 90% humidity and see how you feel. Why don’t you throw in some jet lag and drenching sweat to go with it. That is what I faced. Almost immediately after spying the cheater head back into his trailer, I could feel it coming. That inevitable feeling you hope will pass that you are going to be violently sick. It felt awful. I frantically looked around and spotted a port-a-potty. I dreaded it but I didn’t have much choice. I was going to have to get on my knees in that vile contraption and hope for the best. I so wished I had been drunk right then just to make the whole thing a little more palatable. I opened the door. Yeah, it was even worse than I imagined. The smell pushed me over the edge and I didn’t even bother closing the door as I heaved. It was one of the worst experiences of my life. Honestly, the only saving grace was that I left the door open. Confined inside would have been the end of me. They probably would have found me there at some point. As it was, an actor who we will identify as JC saw me. Legs half out the door, bent over and came over to help. I heard his voice asking if I was OK. Judging from the guy in the suit bent over, he probably assumed I was another victim of the never ending nightlife in the city. A hangover would have been preferable at that point. I knew it was food poisoning. It is an easy self-diagnosis. There is no other explanation for the violent explosion or feeling you get from food poisoning. When I was in the sixth grade I had my first episode. An all you can eat seafood buffet. What could be wrong with warming lights and seafood in an open environment? I tell you that I didn’t touch any seafood for a decade after that night. When JC asked for the second time if I was OK, I wanted to make some kind of smart ass remark, because, I mean who is OK if they are puking in this situation? I whispered food poisoning. I got a knowing nod in return. I still don’t think he was convinced at that point that it was not a hangover. It turns out though a week earlier he had dealt with the same issue. The guy actually reached out his hand and helped me up off the ground and took me over to his trailer. Can I tell you a feeling I remember to this day? When he opened the door there was this rush of cold air that came from that space like none I had felt before. It almost knocked me over, but in a very good way. The best way I can describe it to you is to go to somewhere where it is really hot and that first step you take into an air conditioned public space where someone else is paying the air conditioning bill. That cold air saved me. I am convinced of it. He pointed to a couch in the trailer. This is a guy I had never met but I did a face plant on to that sofa like I had known him for years. That sofa felt like heaven. For the next two hours I would alternate between that sofa and his tiny bathroom. In between, we talked a little bit. I knew who he was of course, but we talked about this and that. Some common people we knew. At some point he had to go film and I told him I could make it the length of a cab ride to make it back to my hotel. He insisted on getting a car for me. Have I told you how great this guy was? I remember just being a shell while in the back of that car on the way to the hotel. When I got there, it must have been late afternoon. Cocktail hour. The noise was not at the same level it had been the night before. Had it really not even been 24 hours since I got to town? I made my way through the throngs of men, some of whom had their afternoon dates with them. When I closed the door to my hotel room, I dropped down to a section of cold tile that was in between the door and the carpet to the rest of the room. I think I passed out there for a couple of hours. It was definitely dark when my stomach erupted again. The sofa in the hotel was not nearly as comfortable as the one in the trailer. Back and forth I went for most of the night. Time was not something I was paying attention to. No television. Just a dark room and the path between sofa and bathroom. At some point during all of this I got a call. I remember it was JC and the guy was checking up on me. I don’t remember it and I never thought to ask him later, but I must have given him my room number during that call because shortly before sunrise there was a knock at the door and there he was. The guy filmed all night. Instead of going to sleep, the guy came across town to check up on a guy he didn’t know. He told me I should get some rest in the bed and not the sofa. I will tell you the hotel bed felt amazing. When I woke up, there was sun coming through the windows and I could hear people either in the room above or next to me having sex. Loud sex. I also realized it had been hours since I had been sick. I staggered out to the living areas of the room to raid the mini bar for some bottled water. Sitting in a chair in the living room watching television was JC. Yep. He stayed. I could go on about this guy, but I made it a point from that point on to say positive things about him whenever I had a chance. Bought him dinner and lunches for years every chance I could. Just an angel. No other words to describe it. After making sure I was going to live, he took off to go get a little rest before he had to start shooting again. I had some water, called the airline and moved my flight up to later that night. I wanted out of there. I left almost 48 hours after I arrived. I actually had the same flight crew for the second flight from Taiwan back to LA as I did on the way to Taiwan. I also had a row all to myself. I didn’t eat though. I think that stretch of time might be the longest I have gone without eating. This actor is foreign born. He has made his living as Mr. Nice Guy. Even though he is foreign born, he somehow manages to convey an aww shucks kind of personality. Even though he has been the star of some potentially violent movies, he has always crusaded against excessive violence in movies generally and his movies specifically. Considering he is an action star, that seems odd. He has always managed to try and keep his action family friendly. His whole spiel is a family values, family friendly thing. Because of where he is from and his reticence to speak about his private life, he has not been called out on lots of his transgressions. There was the constant cheating on his wife despite his claims of faithfulness. Most troubling though is his leadership of a gang. An actual gang. Our former A+ list actor heads a very large cartel which sells drugs and hookers. He is a known human trafficker and according to several reporters who have investigated him, has ordered the killings of at least a dozen rivals and many more people caught up in his crimes. Any reporter who has dug too hard or come too close has been thrown in jail or in one case, killed. The good news is that some of this is now being reported outside his closed world and hopefully he will be arrested and thrown into jail. Jackie Chan

He found out about that connection and when he saw her photos on Facebook he set up some random mentoring appointment for her. That turned into lunch, and the married candidate hooked up with her. He kept hooking up with her while giving her an allowance that he originally paid for through his own accounts. Later, he learned all about shuttling money that was supposed to be spent for campaigns could just as easily be directed towards the mistress. To make it look better she started working for him. The fact she got paid triple what other people in her position got paid was never spoken about because no one wanted to lose their own jobs. They just dealt with it. At some point, she fell in love. She wanted to marry someone so our politician found someone else to be his main mistress. His former mistress continued to work for him but rarely hooked up with her boss any longer because she didn’t want her husband to find out. At some point, the husband did find out so the mistress wanted out. She also wanted to be paid for her silence so she got a lump sum payment that was massive. She also got a do nothing job for a huge salary that is guaranteed for two years and then will receive another lump sum payment equal to the first lump sum payment. All paid for by donors.

Obviously drugs in Hollywood are just a fact of life in the industry. I don’t think it is as bad as when Sean Young said that at one point on a film set, there was no one who was not doing drugs. It was accepted in the 80’s. Now, it is a little more frowned upon. Budgets are higher and studios have realized that actors are pretty replaceable, even A listers. In one situation, they are a little harder to replace. When actual acting is required. Although most movies seem to be some kind of cartoon or comic book that relies on CGI rather than acting, all of those awards that are given every winter usually have some acting in them. This foreign born actor is A list. He has been given a chance at box office glory and bombed. Part of it was the script and part of it was he just didn’t care. It was a nice big fat check and he didn’t have to do much more than just show up as part of an equally bad ensemble cast. What makes him A list are those movies which require acting. Where he has to focus and deliver a hardware winning performance. He does that. In a very big way. The big awards have fawned over him the past few years. When he was making his big bomb, he was not very discreet about his drug use. He spent most of the massive amounts of downtime, in his trailer using. Privately, despite the many flaws in the movie, producers used him as a scapegoat to the studio bosses and our actor has been passed over for big studio films. He has not been passed over for the smaller films. They also know of his drug use, but have been rolling the dice because they want an award. They want his acting. By looking at him, you would never guess that he is a heroin user. Oh sure, he is very thin, but he hides that just like he hides everything else. Through carefully tailored clothes and making sure he is photographed from certain angles, he can hide it. You also never see him without being fully clothed. No shorts and a t-shirt for our actor, Nope. Long sleeves. Long pants. He also has cover in his significant other who, despite her looks, is very protective and very loyal and makes sure to keep everything hidden. She knows much of their relationship is for publicity, but she is not going anywhere. He treats her fairly well, except when he is desperate to use. If you have seen them on one of their frequent long distance airplane rides, he is fine with her for the first several hours. As that flight grows longer though, he becomes much more impatient and demanding. It is then he lashes out at her. She always covers for him though. This actor is so quiet. Never in the tabloids. For those of you who read blogs or devote a lot of time to gossip, you probably know, or at least have heard about this child. For the vast majority of the population who only get their celebrity news from the glossy weekly tabloids, they have no clue. For decades this child has been a secret to the general public. Buh bye to retired life and the quickie marriage. I’m still waiting for a day I run into her where she doesn’t trash the guy. This is a guy who literally traveled around the world moving from country to country and then state to state to try and stay close to his child and our model kept moving and moving until he ran out of money and had to settle down and find a job. The money he burned through moving was the money she paid him when they split. She vowed to make him be broke. She did it and when he finally did run out of money she called him a deadbeat dad and made up as many stories about him as she could to those around her. None were true. None were ever talked about in court filings. These were simply lies she told to make herself feel better and to make him look like crap in the eyes of those close to her and her child. The child believes he is the devil at this point. For years our model trashed models who didn’t walk runways or do Vogue. If you did bikinis or lingerie you were trash. She wasn’t shy about telling you. Behind your back or in your face she would call other models trash or worse. Then, someone told her how much they made. She wanted a piece of that. So, she thought she would get rich quick. The problem was she was not the right body type. Hmm, how to fix that? New breasts, new face. She says she got that big from her baby. Umm, there was like a three year gap between the baby and her massive cup size increase. And how does a baby give you a facelift? Now she was ready. She got the jobs. It didn’t stop her from trashing the people still. She ticked off every model she ever ran into. Told them they were worthless and that it was because she was high fashion she got the gigs. No, it was because she was also willing to do whatever it takes to get ahead. Anything. Let me tell you about the time she met a long time boyfriend. He was probably A list at the time. He had a girlfriend. Our model met him at a party with the girlfriend. Our model spiked her drink. She passed out and our model fucked the A lister. She then told the girlfriend she would kill her unless the girlfriend never came back. It took many years for the A lister to manage to escape her. Did I tell you about the forced diets she made her child endure? Friends had to come from an approved list of families that our model wanted to know. One of those connections did get the model a year long television gig. A good television gig. She was so hated that filming of the reality show was sped up so no one would have to spend time with her for longer than necessary. Early on in the nominating process, this organization which calls itself religious went all in on a candidate for President. This was their second attempt at trying to influence who becomes the next President. Just like in their first effort, their second was unsuccessful. Heck, it was a total bust. Despite basically paying for almost every expense through Super PACS and hard to track donations, the organization could not even get their candidate to register on the public’s radar. To this day, even though it was this election cycle, you would be hard pressed to remember this man ran for President. And he was on the nationally televised debates too. So, what to do? Instead of just propping up one candidate, the group has decided to go behind the scenes. It is what they do best. I don’t think the candidate even has a clue they are doing what they are doing, but they are. First, they are funneling money into a Super PAC. Second, they are paying a tremendous amount of money to the person they first tried to install in office in the last cycle. She gets paid by the campaign already, but the organization is paying her hundreds of thousands of dollars each month so she can give her full-time efforts. They have also taken care of some recent family expenses. Not content to just have this person out there, they are also digging up dirt as only they can. Not on the candidates themselves, but the people who work for the campaign. Little stunts to get some organizing person in a state fired from their job. That sets back the whole process in that state. They also have talking heads who belong to their organization and they are giving talking points each day. Back then, when there were a limited number of prime time shows, getting a line was a bigger deal. Getting a line one the number one show could make a career. This actor terrorized the women that came on the show. He also terrorized the casting people to make sure the women they were sending were attractive. He would storm through their offices if they ever hired someone he thought was not attractive. One season, the actor finally went too far and caused some severe physical damage to a woman who had been trying to fight him off. The actor got booted from the show and rarely worked afterwards. He quickly went from A list to please lose his name from a list. It was all hushed up back in the day. The actress was given some money and a recurring role on another network show and she wouldn’t think of reporting it or saying anything about it. Even today, she is reluctant to discuss it. There was one actress who was a favorite of the actor. She went from extra to recurring simply because of her willingness to put up with his advances. She was so distraught after a few seasons of it that she quit the show and disappeared from acting a year or two later.

FROM REDDIT: I was on a primetime TV show for many years. I think most people under 35 would have been fans of the show although the guy who played our dad is more famous for another role that came after the show ended. I was sexually abused by many people during my stint on the show including executives and one of the smaller role actors. The studio all knew about it (in fact the guys who played my brothers were also molested) but bought our silence. I always felt like that even though I was molested, at least I had money. Old Hollywood through today is littered with rumors and stories about the gay mafia. Back in the day, when coming out was a complete end to your movie or television career, it was a form of protection for those in the industry were gay. That protection aspect is what led to the moniker of mafia. Unlike the mafia there was nothing illegal or untoward about it, it really was protection. It was a situation of you are our friend and we love you so let’s keep you working and make the world think you are heterosexual. We will keep the press from reporting anything about you that would hurt you and will make sure the studios keep you steadily working. At some point in the history of Hollywood it started to become more sinister. The self-appointed leader of it started acting more like a Don (FC) rather than a friend. If you wanted protection and to work you had to bow down to him and kiss the ring so to speak. If he wanted you to do a project, you had to do it. If you crossed this Don in anyway, he would do his best to make sure you never worked. He had/has that kind of power. His power is slipping though. Back in the day there was an alternative to the Don. A different power broker (SE) who had just as much money, but believed in the old school way of helpful protection rather than trying to make a buck off the protection. His specialty was finding people just starting out. He wanted to instill in them the old values he had grown up with in a homophobic industry. He wanted all of them to help each other. Hollywood is all about relationships, maybe more so than any other town/industry. I could list a bunch of them, but I will give you an example of one. Look at someone like Judd Apatow. He had a mentor in Garry Shandling. When Judd first came to Hollywood he found other writers and actors that he enjoyed working with who were of a similar age and style. As he moved from one project to the next in those early years, he would find one or two new people to bring along for the next project which was already staffed with other people in his network he met along the way. At some point in time, the group was established and there was less room for new people. But, as people under him became more successful, they started their own projects and would bring some new people and others from the old group. The Judd Apatow tree with lots of branches. So, going back to our two gay mafia leaders. They were the base of the tree. The kind one groomed this person (KU) to be his successor. KU has become wildly successful and he has his projects everywhere. He is a mogul, much like his benefactor. In front of the camera and behind the camera. The same as his benefactor. Side projects outside the industry and projects that will keep bringing in money no matter what. He is a master of the helpful protection game. He is trying to do the same things he was taught that he thinks will help another generation of performers. Fighting him every step of the way is The Don and his chosen replacement (MX). They believe that help should be given only when something is there for them in return. They also believe in the casting couch. If you want to get in a project or get ahead, you are going to have to sleep your way to the top. If you stop doing what they say or stop having sex with them, they will cast you aside. They will make it impossible to find work in the town and if you try to cross them in any way, they will bring you down, often with violence. Why would anyone subject themselves to that? Because it is the quicker route to fame. The other way requires years of working and moving up the ladder. You have to do the work. The helpful mentors steer you in the right direction or find you projects, but you have to prove yourself. Caught in the middle of these factions is someone (TW) who got his start in the sex for play group. He was their boy toy for a long time and he got work. Big work. Then, all of a sudden, he was gone off the radar. He went from a franchise to starring in his own movies as the lead. Then, nothing. He started to rebel and he was done. He had made enough of a name for himself that he can work a little, but no big projects. Enter the savior. At a party about 18 months ago, KU ran into TW and they started talking. A lot. The party turned into an all night session and lots of days and nights over the next few weeks. A bond was formed. KU has enough projects and clout on his side of the aisle so to speak to keep TW working. He also sees someone in TW like himself. A different kind of self who is more interested in being in front of the camera than behind, but also someone who wants to do more than just act. KU believes that TW can be the next KU and also fall in the footsteps of SE which, even though SE is dead still has a lasting impact in Hollywood. SE’s estate makes more money than most A list actors working today.

These days on realty shows, you see a flurry of people enlisted to get the talent together. There are glam squads, masseuses, interns, assistants, managers, social media teams, ghost writers and so much more. Last night I had the opportunity to see a schedule for one reality TV personality’s team member whose role sounds a lot like a personal slave. I can only imagine all the tea this person has on a certain "lady of the manor who apparently needs someone to do everything short of wiping her ass and hold her hair back during her morning hangover purge. I thought you might like to take a look inside the daily routine that begins from the moment one opens their eyes and ends only when one falls into bed exhausted. These are just the general requirements of the day outside of the persons actual assigned role. In addition to all of this, the team must all sign releases with production that basically give away any rights one has as well as ownership of anything that the person might produce during the filming and some things are literally signed away in perpetuity, like confidentiality. That part really sucks because I would so love for people to write books about their experiences. The tales that could be told about the odd spending habits alone would be fantastic. Though I wouldn’t know anything about that. I do have sort of a day in the life thing for you after the break. From refilling water bottles with tap water, to picking up dog poop, it certainly doesn’t seem like the glamorous situation that applicants are expecting. And if you listen very closely, you can hear murmuring of the disgruntled team here and there about town.
Daily Morning Routine
Always text Lady of the Manor (LOTM) prior to entering her bedroom, or knock. Place an index card with the following day’s schedule copied from the printed calendar each night.
9 a.m. Present LOTM her tea with hazelnut non dairy and NY post. Leave on the red dresser. Text LOTM to let her know tea and paper are there. Ask if she needs anything else.
9:30 a.m. (unless otherwise specified) Bring up Breakfast of Irish oatmeal with berries and almond milk on tray. NEVER walk in without knocking or texting first!!! Be sure to include, VITAMINS, RX Weight loss pills, and Testosterone.
Pack her purse according to the detailed, typed packing list provided. Always take business cards out of wallet & enter into contacts.
Open door to balcony so dogs can go out to pee. Leave door open for dogs. Make sure their food and water is filled. Also refilled empty water bottles on bedside.

OLD HOLLYWOOD: Back in the day this actor was A+ list. Heck, he has been dead for decades and he is probably still A+ list. An Academy Award winner/nominee but only when a lot of the people who hated him had already died. I’m trying to think of a more racist actor from back in the day and I can’t think of any. The guy made a ton of movies. Well over 200. That is a lot. Most of his movies had a lots of extras. Our actor was always a huge supporter of white power movements and anything that would keep African American people down. He directly funded a lot of these efforts, but managed to get the studios to also give them money. How? He would hire a lot of these white power people to be extras so they could pay their bills and locations would be places that were owned by these movements. They were usually out in the middle of nowhere and the studio would pay a fee to use the places. Plus, little pop up type stores would show up all run by the organizations and all charging huge markups. The cast and crew were stuck out there and forced to either drive a long way or buy these items. The fact that this guy is considered a hero drives me nuts. People love this guy and think he was the greatest. He was a racist a-hole and basically kept these hate groups funded for three decades practically all by himself. Apparently the studios turned a blind eye because the movies made money. No one would stand up to him. They did subtle things when they could which is why the whole Oscar thing happened so late in life. John Wayne
