Most families get together to do an intervention when someone is addicted to drugs or booze or gambling and try and get them some help. This family though had a very unique intervention last year when it came to dating. It is not that they are opposed to this family member dating, but it was who the family member wanted to date. Apparently she met a black guy and went out with him a few times as friends to the movies. Well, when this former A list mostly television actor turned indie B list mostly movie actor/conservative speaker found out what was going on, he flipped. This acting family has very strong beliefs and one of them is there should never be interracial marriage. One day I hope one of their kids comes out to them and also says they are marrying out of their race. Now that is reality television. Somehow during the intervention they came up with some kind of logic to convince the family member that it was wrong and that somehow God said it was wrong and then our actor got another family member on the phone who is even more famous and she added more arguments and was equally distressed at the thought of a family member dating outside their race. It got even worse. I know you think it can't but it did because they brought in people from their church to tell some stories they said were about their life but were really just a way to bring out every stereotype they could think of. What I don't like though is a former A list mostly movie actress hanging on to B by a thread after being the it actress for almost a decade who about once a year starts talking about how much she wants a baby and can't wait to get pregnant and uses almost the exact same quotes all of the time. Once she finally gets there and gets inside she can fake it enough and use enough mind tricks to make it through the ordeal, but when she leaves, she becomes a sweaty, exhausted mess and drinks herself to sleep. She is an actress. She used to be A+ list. Rarefied air that she had. Academy Award winner/nominee. For a time, she was the number one choice for almost every movie role available. She could still be that choice and she still has A list name recognition, but she has suffered the past five or six years with actually leaving her own house. It is rare she can manage and when she does it is usually with her boyfriend by her side. She prefers to be alone with him, or just alone is fine with her too. She has an assistant to go shopping for her and do the day to day things so she doesn't have to leave the house. Meetings with her manager or agents or anyone else is by phone or they come to her place. She has dated some of the biggest names in Hollywood. All this used to be managed more effectively. There is talk that her boyfriend likes to have her under his control and maybe had made things worse for his benefit. One thing that has surfaced is that she has a tough time filming anything because of the crowds and the stage fright. One major celebrity had a minor hissy fit at the prospect of sitting next to a seat filler at a recent awards show. Briefly, when an audience member at a major awards show leaves their seat to use the bathroom or to present an award, an attractive "seat filler" will be assigned to occupy that seat so that the audience still looks full. Although they are not always paid, seat fillers go through a screening process as if they are employees of the venue, and provide their own formal wear, hair and makeup so that they blend in with the celebrity-filled audience. Well, Celebrity 1 – who is a major star – absolutely REFUSED to let a seat filler occupy the seat next to her when her companion had to leave for a brief period of time! She was rude about it, too. She pointed at the poor girl and told a producer that there was no way that she was going to have some random fan sit next to her (Yes, although there were hundreds of stars there, Celebrity 1 assumed that the seat filler was a fan of hers)! So while the embarrassed seat filler stood there, the audience coordinators shuffled people around and pulled Celebrity 2 from another row to sit next to Celebrity 1 for a short period of time. The ironic thing? Celebrity 1 and Celebrity 2 don’t even like each other! However, during that brief seating shuffle, the two sat together in one of the front rows and pretended to be BFFS, all just so that Celebrity 1 wouldn’t have to be subjected to sitting next to a random.

Instead of working for the assistant taking care of the kids, they end up living with the director for a few months until he gets tired of them and sends them home. Our director actually got busted doing this once with a different company when the au pair complained. Apparently our director wanted even more than the au pair was willing to do despite the "salary" the director pays them each month.
