While they were filming that movie together, Singer was dating an Actor who did a whole bunch of films and TV series in the 1990s-2000s. She was madly in love with him and they dated for several years. While they were filming, Actor hung out on set… and began cheating on Singer with her costar, Actress! At first, Singer thought it was great that her costar and her boyfriend got along so well, but she eventually figured out what was really happening. I guess its fitting that this is being written in the same month as Halloween. The thing is, it is right up there with any of the scenes you would see in a slasher movie. Apparently there are a handful of people who know this story, which is way more than you would expect with something of this significance. It happened about a decade ago on a film set outside the country. It involves a then A+ list mostly movie actor who was married at the time. Back then he was a quiet cheater and kept his indiscretions outside the country which is why he probably shot so many movies outside the US. Later he would change his strategy when it came to cheating and it backfired in a big way. Anyway, our actor was hooking up with a local woman. He was experimenting with drugs which he still does now. Usually he goes for more of the hallucinogenic variety rather than coke. Combined with the steroids and HGh he takes, he can be this rage machine that thinks he is seeing things. Since there were only two people in the room when it happened, no one knows for sure what led to it, but a woman was killed. The same woman he had been hooking up with. She had a broken neck and burns on her body. At the time it happened there was a massive hurricane in the area and no power. Production on the movie had been shut down because of the wind and rain. Our actor was staying in a house he was renting. One of the crew was called to the house by an assistant director and told to bring a tarp and some heavy duty tape. He went over to the house and the assistant director met him at the door holding a lantern. The crew member saw what he thought was a mannequin’s body lying on the floor. He thought it was a mannequin because he didn’t think it was possible for a human to be in that position. Probably why she was dead. He handed over the tarp and tape and then left. Another crew member said that he was asked the same night if there was some kind of bulldozer available. He said yes, and when he was asked what it was needed for, he was told they just wanted to see if one was available in case there was extensive storm damage. When that crew member showed up at the holding area where the production kept all vehicles and equipment two days later, the lock to the gate was broken but nothing was missing. The bulldozer however was in a completely different spot and was covered in mud. What is bringing all of this together now is that the assistant director who was making all the calls is not receiving money from the actor any longer and has been talking to other people about selling the information he has about the woman and what happened.

Additionally, when he go home and started job hunting, Exec discovered that TV Guy had called mutual acquaintances all over town to tell them that Exec was an addict, that he been fired, and that it would be a mistake for anyone else to hire him! We’re not attorneys, so we don’t know if it was legal for TV Guy to fire the Exec while he was in rehab or to smear his name like that. However, for a man who is always telling other people how to live their lives with integrity, honesty, and compassion, TV Guy’s handling of this situation certainly appears to have fallen short of those values. Not just the most, but double what anyone else was making. This coming from a person who had never made more than scale before. When she was nominated for an Emmy and didn’t win she accused the network of not spending enough money on promoting her campaign. She went into rages because she didn’t have billboards and full page ads in the trade publications touting her. Despite the nature of the program she insists on working as little as possible. Often people are waiting for her for hours. They can’t proceed without her and are held hostage basically until she decides to show up or deems herself camera ready. When her work is done she does not talk to anyone on the show. She treats the crew like crap. She treats the people appearing on the show like crap. The only time she is ever nice to anyone is if there is some celebrity on the show who is higher in status than her. The thing is, everyone is scared to fire her. They keep hoping she will get another job and quit. There are some on the show who want it to take a hiatus for a season or two so she will move on and they can bring it back without her.

I am not a big get in a costume and go have a party guy for Halloween. One time though, someone talked me into it. Once. I was at a screening of a movie in which she was probably billed just high enough to get an invite. She had been in one earlier movie that year which gave her some amount of fame, but it had pretty much gone away by this time. I was there because one of the guys who contributed a song to the soundtrack invited me along. The soundtrack did way better than the movie. Anyway, we got to talking and made some plans to meet up. Blah blah blah. About a month after the movie screening was Halloween. The thing is, in between that flop and Halloween she had another movie come out. She was doing a bunch of press for that movie so we still had not hung out by the time that movie had its premiere. Well, lo and behold that lifelong friend of mine who has been in this space many times asked me to go to the premiere with her. She was actually in the movie and was pretty excited. Anyway, SW was there, obviously and we started up right where had left off a month earlier doing almost the same thing. I was even wearing the same thing. I do that. So, after the premiere there was a party. It probably would have been the most boring party in the world if it were not for one of the co-stars of the movie. In one night, this actor, who we will call MA, stripped naked, snorted coke of every available surface, made out with women, rubbed himself against guys and drank shot after shot of tequila all while making sure nobody touched his pills. Seriously. When he stripped he took the pills out of the pocket of his pants and set them on a table. Every minute or so he would stop doing what he had been doing and make eye contact with his pills. If someone walked near the table, he could sense it and would scream at them to stay the f**k away from his pills. He screamed it so often, that by the end of the night people were screaming it for him when someone would walk by the table. It was probably the most bizarre thing I have seen someone do almost ever, but especially someone who was almost A list at that point. It seems hard to believe now, but the actor who started on television, ended up getting a half dozen above the title A list movie credits before the partying just got too far out of hand. Now, he barely works. He gets most of his gigs from favors.
